I've been shooting actors' headshots in Los Angeles since 1990. Prior to that, my photography career began in Northern California where I photographed actors, shot production stills for commercials and occasional editorial. In 1988 I moved to Santa Barbara to attend the renowned Brooks Photography Institute & upon completion of several classes, moved to Los Angeles the following year.

People are my favorite photo subjects and are always interesting whether I'm photographing actors, executives, comedians, musicians, children, or people on the street. Every face has a unique story and presents an opportunity and a challenge to capture a moment, maybe just a tiny revelation. If, as the old adage says, "The eyes are the window to the soul," a good headshot or portrait opens that window.
